Notes:

Universal in the early 50’s made a number of short films which showcased the musical talents of the day. These went out as an accompaniment to their theatrical releases.

This one, LEAVE IT TO HARRY, featured Harry James and was released with a Dean Martin-Jerry Lewis film THREE RING CIRCUS.

Janssen completed his role of ‘Moderator’ in one day on 7/30/1954, the week after returning from shooting CHIEF CRAZY HORSE in South Dakota.

Filmed at U-I on stage 21, it took 33 minutes to film the scene which involved Janssen playing a game show host to a panel of "whiz kids." The kids were stumped until Janssen asked,“Can you name 6 songs that Mr. James is associated with?” The kids call out numerous song titles, and the vignette segues into a performance of “I'll Remember April.”
