BROADWAY: At age 19, following his summer stock stint in Ogunquit, Maine, Janssen
spent 3 months in New York City (September-December 1950) trying to work
as an actor. He supposedly got work in two Broadway productions that closed
including a Mike Todd musical in which he was cast as a ‘hoofer’.
The titles of these productions are not known.
